There is a thin area existing in the root of the teeth containing nerves. If this area gives you pain this may be caused by infection and will require treatment of the root canal.
The initial step will involve assessment and some X-rays so that we may create a plan and make a diagnosis. From that point your options for treatment can be discussed as well as any questions answered.
Although dental surgery can make many people nervous, it is important to remember that we endeavour to ensure this is a comfortable and pain-free experience, with no need for worry. If the you experience some anxiety before your treatment, we offer an Anxiety Assistance service, which will help you be at ease through this procedure.
If you feel that you may have signs of infection with symptoms such as tenderness when chewing or fluctuating hot and cold sensations it is important that you contact us so that we may help.
